This poor boy keeps getting put to the side whilst I work on private commissions - but he's almost there (although I have said that on numerous occasions now).... 

I took the opportunity to try out some new art materials including Pan Pastels - if you like working with pastels - and have not tried them yet - you MUST - they are a complete game changer especially for large areas like backgrounds. I am in love with the pearl black colour I have used in combination with other rich dark colours in the background - there's a glimmer to it that is just so sparkly and gorgeous in real life :)

With my new improved website - I will try to be better at regular blogs / updates of what I'm up to! So here's one that will speak to so many lovers of pretty things............ I love so many of the iconic London store Fortnum and Mason's beautifully decorated tins that when I fall heir to them I can't bear to throw them away. Only one thing to do - find a new use for them...... TADA !! (alongside one of my own little creations of course)  :)
