Original Mixed Media Painting

Family has also been created with a variety of mediums. The intial painting was set out with liquid charcoal paint. I then used a combination of stick charcoals, pastels and gouche paint. The background is not totally black - it is a combination of very dark blues and purples to give the painting true atmosphere and depth. This was painted from a beautiful reference photo by wildlife photographerTazi Brown . Overall dimensions when in card mount are 14 x 16 inches.

NB. the photos above are a mock up of how the painting could look framed in a room setting. Family will be supplied unframed but in a card mount.
